The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: Bend, OR, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to serve all members of my community to the best of my ability.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my husband, my children, my siblings and their families, and my parents.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the opportunity to learn from and alongside a diverse population.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the talented, supportive, and innovative faculty.

I plan to use my degree to:

serve as a community librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

giving back to those who have afforded me this opportunity.
