Current residence: Las Vegas, NV, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

Education is of big importance in my life, and to my family, and I knew if I wanted to go anywhere in this world (both literally and metaphorically) I needed higher education to do so. It's enlightening to me. Besides, I consider myself a "professional academic," so I love to continuously learn and acquire new skill sets.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family and previous professors.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Different states, ages, backgrounds (education and life), and goals.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility, variety of courses that could be taken, and the online career help.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The ability and privilege to have a library school available to me in order to explore my passion for the field.

I plan to use my degree to:

Explore special librarianship.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Completing my M.A. in History, and finding a career that blends the two fields together.
