Current residence: Santa Clara, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to combine my current career as a cartographer with informational literacy to be able to pursue a career as a map or GIS librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My classmates and professors. I have found the faculty to be incredibly enthusiastic and insightful about their specialty areas, which is reflected in the quality of teaching and coursework for each of the classes I have taken.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

I met wonderful people from all around the world and in different stages of life.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I was pleased to experience a sense of connectedness with my fellow classmates and professors.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The wide range of classes I was able to take from medieval codicology to futurology.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work as a GIS librarian.
