The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2018

PROFILE

Current residence: Los Angeles, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

Libraries embody service to others in the most extraordinary ways. Through learning, sparking creativity, encouragement, embracing diversity, opening minds to new possibilities, or just connecting, people who who in libraries can make such a difference in people's lives.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, and faculty who have encouraged and supported me through this process. I feel this is the start of what will be an amazing journey. I am grateful to get the opportunity to help others.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Everywhere

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to share thoughts and learning experiences with others.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Connecting with others who had the same interest and passion about libraries.

I plan to use my degree to:

hopefully become an academic librarian one day.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

using the what have learned in to program to put theory into practice.
