I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

After working in libraries for 10 years, I was ready for the next step!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My brother and his wife, who helped me pay for a term of classes. Thank you Dan and Dana!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Mostly California, but as far away as Toronto! I was happy to meet several classmates at a conference a few months ago!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The variety of classes offered! I was able to take everything in my field that I wanted, plus a few extras.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become an awesome children's librarian and storyteller! Most of my friends have kids now, and I will make them come to all of my future story hours!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Becoming a public librarian! I love to serve my community, and look forward to being a part of the amazing library systems in the Bay Area.
