I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

Earning a MLIS degree was in answer to a calling to return to library work. I also was inspired by the personal challenge of accomplishing the degree program. Having the ability to say that I am a library and information science professional is a satisfying achievement and I look forward to applying my newly developed skills in my future career.
