I wanted to earn a masters degree because:
The MLIS degree was an attractive choice because it allowed me to learn about a lot of different subjects within the LIS field, while also exploring my interest area in archival work.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My greatest supporters consisted of my mom and dad, grandparents, uncle, and godparents. I also had support from close friends, my mentor, and colleagues.
While in the program, I met classmates from:
I met classmates from all over the United States ranging from our beloved West Coast to East Coast and everywhere else in between. And I'm so happy we could be part of each other's MLIS journey.

I plan to use my degree to:
I plan to use my degree to become an agent and supporter of change. I'm not sure what library setting will be my endgame, but I look forward to shaking things up on the way there.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
I'm most looking forward to spending time cultivating relationships with colleagues and conducting independent research about the LIS field, specifically archival work or anything related to my interests in Indigenous librarianship or prison librarianship.
