Tiff Ruocco: Congrats, Gina! So proud of you! Best wishes on your future endeavors! XO

David J Dufour: This was a long two-and-a-half years journey, with extended hours at night and across so many timezones to attend lectures and join collaborative sessions. I can't believe it's all completed now, you were so committed to delivering the best homework, while I was merely trying to support you all year round. You made it!! Congratulations from your partner who can't wait to see what your new Master of Science will bring to our life.

Shelly Buchanan: Congratulations, Gina! All the best to you!

The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2018

PROFILE

Current residence: The Hague, Netherlands

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I'd like to become a Media Specialist in an international school library.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my partner, my close friends, and my family.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the United States and a few living in Europe.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the ability to complete assignments at any time.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

being able to connect with so many people from different backgrounds and with different goals and levels of experience. Every connection was a learning experience for me.

I plan to use my degree to:

teach students how to be responsible and discerning information consumers and creators.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

applying my new skills and knowledge in the classroom and the library.
