PROFILE

Current residence: Denver, CO, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

One day I would like to achieve the ultimate career goal of being the City Librarian of Denver.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, friends and coworkers! Each kind and encouraging word they gave helped motivate me to keep going and finish.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the United States and Canada. I was surprised at how many students from Canada that I met in the program.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility that asynchronous communication methods allow students that work full time.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Working with Professor Faires on the Info 298 Web Conferencing Project as a Collaborate Assistant. I learned so much about myself that I hope I can apply as a future instructor in library and information concepts.

I plan to use my degree to:

Hopefully see the world and experience information professions in a variety of contexts.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Enjoying a full night's sleep and take a vacation to toast my successful graduate degree completion.
