PROFILE

Current residence: Grass Valley, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

to develop information professional background and foundational knowledge base and gain greater employment skills within the field

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, my son, my sister, my brother-in-law and my SJSU iSchool's professors

While in the program, I met classmates from:

the United States of California, Florida, Ohio, New York and Florida. Other countries of Canada, United Kingdom and Russia

What I liked best about online learning was:

The scheduling flexibility to fit in with work, family & life, and being able to connect with a global community

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning new technologies, my professors and courses, making new connections

I plan to use my degree to:

Begin a new position as a public library supervisor supporting a rural small public library to continue my information professional journey

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Aim to strive at continuing to grow through gaining professional and informal experiences, and practice lifelong learning to remain a relevant information professional.
