I wanted to get the skills and knowledge that I need to move up in the field. I also love learning and wanted to prove to myself that I could earn a master's degree.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My wonderful and supportive fiancé Mark and my parents. Thanks, y'all.
While in the program, I met classmates from:
All over the country and beyond!
What I liked best about online learning was:
It allowed me the flexibility to work full-time and to do things at my own pace. It was really neat to be able to cue up a lecture any time I wanted. I wasn't confident in my ability to do online learning before I started, and now I've proved that I can do it.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:
How much I learned! I've been able to learn from some incredible professors and I hope to never stop learning throughout my life.
I plan to use my degree to:
Get a job in a special library and use my experience as a jumping-off point for learning and growing more.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Freedom! And moving up in the world of professional librarianship.
