Current residence: East Lansing, MI, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

My passion was to help people with their genealogical pursuits, but as I learned more in the program, I found I also enjoyed the preservation of cartographic archival materials.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My cousin, John, and my two new friends that I made here at school, Jesse and Sophia! :)<br /> <br />

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Florida and Massachusetts.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to work when I felt the best. I liked being able to write papers and study anytime that was convenient for me.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I learned so much. The program was really hard, but completely worth it. I feel prepared to move forward in my career after this experience.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work with cartographic preservation whether it is historical paper-based maps or satellite imagery; and the storage of big data for digital mapping capabilities.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Moving into a new field of archives that I am prepared for. Thank you!
