I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to serve my community in a meaningful way. I was ready for a career instead of a job.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My grandmother, who sadly passed away in September. My husband, my friends and my family.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the US.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to work at my own pace. Skipping any 8am required classes was a great bonus. (I'm not a morning person)

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning new things and connecting with people from all different backgrounds.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work in an academic library, hopefully doing outreach, reference services, and user-experience design work.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

All of the opportunities I have to really make a difference in a student's life.
