Current residence: Seal Beach, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I enjoy the public library environment and wanted to make it my career.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

I couldn't have done this without the support of my family: my parents; my grandparents; my brother's family; my aunts; my uncles; and my cousins.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Canada, Italy, Florida, Colorado, Oregon, and Kuwait.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The fact that I could keep my library job in Southern California, while taking my classes in my free time.

I plan to use my degree to:

I recently got a job as a full time literacy librarian in a local library system. I look forward to tackling the challenges that face my community and helping people reach their literacy goals.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having free time to work on my hobbies: sewing, dancing, reading for leisure, and watching Netflix.
