Current residence: Alexandria, VA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I was having trouble finding entry-level library jobs, so I hoped that earning an MLIS would help me get a foot in the door. (It worked.)

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Elijah St. Dennis, Tim and Terri Johnson, Adrienne Butler, Kyle Butler, Catherine Greenfield, and Abby Hargreaves.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

California, mostly, but I was surprised by how many of my fellow Virginians were in the program!

What I liked best about online learning was:

I didn't have to uproot my life to go to school -- SJSU brought the opportunities to me.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

feeling like a part of a community. I was worried about whether I would be all alone since the school was so far away, but that wasn't the case at all.

I plan to use my degree to:

take over the world.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

going to California in May to accept my degree in-person!
