Kyle cassidy :
Thank you for taking the time to do the laborious but important work that helps us remain civilized. In a world where information and misinformation swirl together in people’s minds, it is only because of people like you holding a lantern that we may see our way through.
Linda Braus:
Aunt Sara, you have always been and continue to be one of my biggest inspirations in life. Throughout your library school journey, you have learned a lot and nerded out about it, which I have thoroughly enjoyed, but you've also shown incredible perseverance through the challenges of school and life (and the two together). Through it all, you've continued to be a loving and supportive and hilarious person, and everyone you work with in your field in the future will be so fortunate to have had the opportunity. Your intelligence and dedication shine through everything you do. Thank you for your dedication to this work — librarians kick ass and you know it. Love you. - Linda
Elizabeth :

Debbie Faires:

PROFILE
Current residence: Grayslake, IL, US
I wanted to earn a masters degree because:
I appreciate the value of libraries and librarians. I want to be part of this important profession.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My loving husband, mother, sister, and sister-in-law. My brothers and father were my inspirations. I miss them. Thank you to Kelly and Carrie, too!
While in the program, I met classmates from:
Many places in the United States, Canada, and other countries throughout the world. It was a great honor to work along side my fellow students.
What I liked best about online learning was:
I would recommend an online learning environment to those preferring an independent and flexible education. It worked well for me. I enjoyed it.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:
The instructors in this program are stellar. They are dedicated to their profession. It is evident in their instruction efforts and roles in the field. The iSchool provided me with many opportunities to be involved in the educational process as a Blackboard Collaborate assistant, peer mentor, and Web 2.0 volunteer. Thank you!
I plan to use my degree to:
Work in a public library and ensure equitable access to information, services, and programs for all individuals.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
