The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2018

PROFILE

Current residence: washington, DC, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to make a career change (get out of the non-profit sector), and this program was a great way to do so. Plus, my grandma was a librarian - it's fun to carry on her legacy.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Family & friends!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Around the state, a few that were outside of the country.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Online learning has been very challenging for me, but I appreciate the ability to do it from wherever. I was able to move from California to Washington, DC in my second semester because of the online freedom.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Participating in student government groups, and meeting peers in person when the chance arose.

I plan to use my degree to:

Go crazy, wildly, enthusiastic and pursue different information careers!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

My journey as a information management professional!
