I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

My grandfather, by the name of Thomas Francis Smith, was a reference librarian at two community colleges in Los Angeles, therefore, libraries run in the family!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents: Jerry and Priscilla

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Hawaii to New York

What I liked best about online learning was:

Not having to commute!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Getting an internship at the same community college my grandpa worked at many decades ago!

I plan to use my degree to:

I would like to continue improving the lives of students in either K - 12 school or 2 - 4 year academic library careers.
