I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I needed a MLIS degree in order to advance into a librarian role at my public library.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

family and fellow classmates.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the United States, Canada, and China.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the flexibility of asynchronous learning.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the thought-provoking and challenging classes and how applicable my classes on the Youth Services Pathway are to my work at a public library.

I plan to use my degree to:

apply for a Children's Librarian position at the public library where I've worked for the past four years and I was offered the job in April!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

catching up on countless Netflix and Hulu shows that I had to miss due to always having to do homework!
