PROFILE

Current residence: Merced, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted a stable but rewarding career where I can continue learning something new everyday. I enjoy intellectually stimulating work, puzzle-solving, and work that allows me to be creative.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family and my significant other.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All around the U.S.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I could still work at my job with open availability, make plans with family and friends much more easily, and still be able to complete my degree with straight As.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

How I always was learning something new in each course and even hearing about the variety of LIS work experiences my professors and peers had throughout their lives.

I plan to use my degree to:

Find a digital librarian position at first, but later on, I would love to potentially explore positions within digital archives or database building.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Celebrating my achievement with family and friends and moving on to the next stage of my life.
