Current residence: Santa Maria, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to become an Adult Services Librarian at a public library.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My wife, her mom, my Dad, our dogs, and our extended family.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

My job, California, China, South America, Canada, the East Coast, the Midwest, the rest of the United States.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Working on school at 2 in the morning when I couldn't get to sleep. I could be productive at any time of the day.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The quality and experience of the professors. Also the comradery of other students working in Public and Academic Libraries.

I plan to use my degree to:

I accepted a promotion after interviewing at my current job (during my final semester). I am now the Adult Services librarian for the central library of a large county library system.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Spending time with my wife and son. I also hope to improve my skills as an Adult Services librarian.
