PROFILE

Current residence: South-Central Connecticut, CT, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I began working in a library, was impressed by the commitment and service to the community, and wanted to become a part of that.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family and friends. Thank you for encouraging me when I was having a hard time in my classes and showing interest when I wanted to talk about what I loved about my classes.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All the way across the country and across the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility that made it easier to have a job while in school.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The amazing variety of topics my classes managed to cover, which has given me a better appreciation of librarianship. I also enjoyed working with my fellow students in group projects and learning their thoughts through discussion boards.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a Young Adult Librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Continuing a more specialized learning about the type of librarianship I am passionate about and having some more time for hobbies.
