PROFILE

Current residence: Waukesha, WI, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I love public libraries and wanted to continue my education in a formal way.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents, my partner, and my wonderful coworkers at MCL.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the country. It was wonderful having us all come together digitally!

What I liked best about online learning was:

the flexibility as I was able to work full-time at my public library while getting my degree.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the wide range of professors who shared their knowledge.

I plan to use my degree to:

continue working in public libraries in Wisconsin!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

being able to say I did it! Also encouraging others to find a great program to get their MLIS!
