The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2025

PROFILE

Current residence: Pleasanton, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wish to work as a community librarian and needed the relevant experience.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family and my professors, particularly my ePortfolio adviser Jessica Bushey.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the country, albeit mostly from California.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The asynchronous nature of instruction.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The variety in courses which I was able to pursue over the course of my program.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a community librarian for one of several libraries in the Tri Valley Area.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Applying the training I received to my actual profession as a community librarian.
