The degree of

Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: SCOTTS VALLEY, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to help people in the community with their information needs. I believe in equal access to information.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My daughter and son, my friends, my professors, my colleagues in the program and in SLASC and UXSG, and the iSchool administrators and leadership.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I was able to work at my own pace without being tied down to certain class times.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Getting involved in student leadership allowed me to connect with colleagues and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I learned so much from the experience.

I plan to use my degree to:

Help people find the information they seek, hopefully in an academice or special library.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Hiking, reading books for pleasure, and spending time with friends and family.
