PROFILE

Current residence: St. Louis, MO, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

My first job was working in a library as a shelver and the 7 years working there allowed me to fall in love with librarianship.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mother Meredith, my sister Kiara, my friends Giau, Kadiedra, Justina, Zonke, and Delaney, my managers at YES English

While in the program, I met classmates from:

I met classmates from across the continental US, South Korea, Thailand, and more

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility for studying the course content and the need to be organized so I could complete my assignments online through the time difference.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I enjoyed the more specialized classes on librarianship, especially with regards to minority groups.

I plan to use my degree to:

Either work in public or academic librarianship but who knows. I may find an information management need in a separate organization and I'm open to that as well.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Putting my skills to use. I can't wait to find a job that suits me.
