Current residence: Oakland, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

It seemed to be the next step to take in my career as a professional library employee. I was looking forward to the mobility that such a degree would offer me, and the expertise it would confer.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends and family, who cheered me on, and listened to me even while I discussed projects and papers in extensive detail.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the States - and a surprising amount from within the Bay Area!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The convenience was unmatched - the ability to take classes at my own pace was ideal, and worked with my schedule.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I really enjoyed the applicable coursework - I was specifically able to utilize the skills I learned in my Early Literacy Storytime classes and Teen Services and Programming in my day-to-day work.

I plan to use my degree to:

I plan to use my degree to serve my community better, in the capacity of a full Librarian!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Applying the information that I have learned to better provide library experiences - especially for teenage and youth patrons!
