I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

It would help me overcome a professional hurdle while at the same time satisfying a personal love of learning in an area I admire

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents, they were always available to bounce ideas off of, offer editorial services for papers or projects, and provide a listening ear for rants about academic challenges

While in the program, I met classmates from:

The East Coast, Singapore, Utah, Oregon, and Texas

What I liked best about online learning was:

The asynchronous aspect of it that allowed me to continue to work and support myself while I went to school

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning new technological skills like coding along with an immersion in library science theory

I plan to use my degree to:

pursue a library position at an academic institution or archive

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

having the opportunity to restart my social life
