I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to be an advocate for libraries and the services we provide to support the prosperity and success of our diverse communities.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My greatest supporters were my husband, Zack, my parents, and my wonderful coworkers at both Wichita Public Library and Skyway Library.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I like the flexibility autonomy of online learning. Plus, without online learning, I wouldn't have been able to attend SJSU from where I was in Kansas.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I loved how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is interwoven into every class. I also love the variety in the classes offered, which not only allowed me to follow my passion of DEI work, but also gave me the opportunity to develop a well-rounded set of information skills.
