The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2025

PROFILE

Current residence: Grand Junction, CO, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to advance my library career by gaining tools to provide new opportunities and growth, and better understand archival institutions.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends, husband, and coworkers.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the country!

What I liked best about online learning was:

I was able to pace myself and work around my full time work schedule and social schedule. It also helped me to self motivate and realize that I am better at time management than I had previously realized.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The fantastic instructors, the reading materials, and the available curriculum. There were too many interesting classes to choose from.

I plan to use my degree to:

Advance my career and explore new options within the library and information science realm.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Letting my brain turn off for a bit :)
