PROFILE

Current residence: Roanoke, VA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I have always loved public libraries, and I want to become a librarian to connect people with the books, information, and resources they need.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends and family, who encouraged me throughout the process.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Across the country who are working in various fields of librarianship.

What I liked best about online learning was:

It was largely self-directed and I was able to utilize engaging technologies to make the process more interesting.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Meeting my classmates in the program, collaborating on group projects, and sharing information in student discussion boards.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work with diverse communities and provide equitable access to information for all individuals.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Finally being out of school after going into my master's straight after my bachelor's degree, as well as focusing on advancing in my career.
