The degree of

Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: Grand Junction, CO, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I think public libraries do amazing things for their communities and I wanted to be a part of those efforts.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My coworkers.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over. I once worked on a group project with someone who was on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility that allowed me to fit my schoolwork into my life in a way that worked for me.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Getting to be a student again, almost twenty years after I graduated for what I thought was the last time!

I plan to use my degree to:

Work as a children’s librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Continuing to develop as a librarian and using what I’ve learned in this program to contribute to the field.
