The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation

Current residence: Portland, ME, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I have wanted to earn a master's degree for years, and I have also wanted to work in a library setting.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband Justin, and my friends, family, and professors.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility it gave me. I could work while attending school without having to plan my work schedule around my classes.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Participating in a service trip to Guatemala with Librarians Without Borders.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work in a public library.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having time to read for fun again!
