CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ACHIEVEMENT

Now it is time to celebrate!

To get started, you'll register to participate in Virtual Convocation and create a graduate profile for the website. Once your profile is live, we encourage you to share it with family and friends and invite them to post on your graduate profile page and join the Virtual Convocation social media celebration.

Please click the next arrow to begin the registration process.

Important Note: The School will also be hosting a synchronous virtual convocation in late Spring. Details will be provided closer to the time.

In addition, please add ischool-convocation-group@sjsu.edu to your email approved list or address book to receive important Virtual Convocation information.

Convocation Eligibility

Students who have graduated or plan to graduate in Summer 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 are eligible to create a graduate profile. If your degree has not yet been officially conferred, you will only be eligible to create a profile if the following requirements have been met:

  1. You have been advanced to graduate candidacy (an approved candidacy form is on file).
  2. You have Applied for Graduation for Fall 2024, Spring 2025 or Summer 2025 via MySJSU (this is not the same as the candidacy form). See instructions here: Graduation Application Process and Forms.

Please contact the iSchool Student Services Team with any questions about the graduation application process, qualifications, and/or eligibility. Please email Gina Lee if you would like iSchool staff to know the phonetic pronunciation of your name before it is recorded on the online graduation platform.

For graduates with an identified disability (such as a visual or hearing impairment), if you require assistance with the graduate profile registration process, please contact iSchool IT staff member TC Truong for assistance.
