The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2017

PROFILE

Current residence: Berkeley, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I really enjoy working with kids in the library. I wanted to open doors for future careers and to be able to remain in the Library Sciences field for as long as possible.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, in particular my parents.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the US especially from all over CA.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the flexibility. It was really nice to be able to work on projects/listen to lectures in a way that best fit my schedule, while I was working full time.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

some of the classes I took were really interesting and informative.

I plan to use my degree to:

be a librarian that works with children/teens for now in a school setting.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

not being in school anymore! Not having any homework; and the future careers that may become available to me.
