PROFILE

Current residence: Boulder, CO, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I love talking about books, discovering emerging technologies, and working with kids of all ages. I realized I could do all of these things as a Librarian and that is why I decided to earn a Master of Library and Information Science degree!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My Husband Zack Burns, Mom Grace Kruse, Dad Dan Kruse, Sister Savannah Kruse, Brother Johnathan Kruse, Grandma Dee Gallegos, Uncle Robert Gallegos, GrandDad Robert Kruse, Mother-in-law Margaret Burns, Father-in-law Chris Burns, Brother-in-law Luke Burns, Brother-in-law Dylan Burns, Sister-in-law Jen Reed, GrandBunny Burns, Uncle David Weller, and so many more friends and family members!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world!

What I liked best about online learning was:

Was how close I became with classmates and still am!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

How interactive the online classes were!

I plan to use my degree to:

Work with children, tweens, and teens in the library!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

My new job as a Youth Services Librarian!
