The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2017

PROFILE

Current residence: Anchorage, AK, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I am planning to pursue a career as an elementary school librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My loving husband Kiel, and all fellow students along the way. I was also thankful to have another student, Rochene, locally here in Anchorage for support.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to study from Alaska and be with my family. It also afforded me the flexibility to volunteer in school libraries around town to compliment my studies.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The incredibly smart professors, and the experiences of my fellow students.

I plan to use my degree to:

Be an elementary school librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Continuing to learn the rest of my career! But with maybe fewer discussion posts :)
