The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2017

PROFILE

Current residence: Albuquerque, NM, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to prepare for a second career either in a public library or as an information professional.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my husband, my children, my friends, fellow students, and wonderful professors.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the United States, several cities in Canada, Europe, Mexico, and South America.

What I liked best about online learning was:

being able to work in a focused and independent manner.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

being connected to students and professors from different places, with different experiences and dreams, who were willing to share and encourage all of us.

I plan to use my degree to:

get a position in a public library!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

putting into practice all that I have learned.
