Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: Millstone Township, NJ, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I obtained my masters degree in order to advance in my current profession as a children's librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents have always been my biggest supporters in life and I would not have had the courage to follow my dreams if not for them. My extended family also gave me the encouragement to become a librarian and obtain my masters degree. I would also like to thank my best friends Alaina and Brandi for all their support as I completed my degree. A special thanks also to my coworkers at the Monmouth County Library. Thank you for all of your support and help as I completed my degree!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world

What I liked best about online learning was:

Easy to gain work experience while obtaining my degree.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning about what it takes to be a successful Information Professional.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a successful Youth Services librarian and help children discover their love of reading.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Spending time with my family and friends.
