PROFILE

Current residence: Daly City, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

Professional Development

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, children, my brother (Allen), and dear friend (Lizett).

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the U.S. and abroad. One of my project team members lived in Paris and online conferencing was instrumental in completing projects together.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Flexibility to take courses while still being able to work full time and raise two children.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The variety of online learning tools to help each student succeed. Instructors were knowledgeable and responsive to student inquiries.

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue work in the CSU system and to strive to contribute to faculty and student success on a larger scale.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Focusing on pursuing leadership opportunities at work and collaboration with academic librarians and archivists.
