I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I love working in libraries and an MLIS not only opens up more opportunities, it also provides knowledge and skills that can improve the work I am already doing.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family and colleagues were a huge source of encouragement.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility and the ability to schedule class work around my work hours.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I had the opportunity to take some really interesting classes and learn about a variety of topics.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a children’s librarian one day.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

No classes this summer! And using the ideas and skills I learned in school at work.
