I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to share my love of literature and learning with others. I especially enjoy children's literature, and I wanted to share that excitement about learning with kids.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My greatest supporters while earning my degree were my husband Dan, my kids Grayson and Corbin, and my mentor Cheryl.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

During the program I met classmates from my hometown all over the world. I even had group projects with students living in Russia and Mexico.

What I liked best about online learning was:

My favorite part of online learning was the flexibility.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The classes related to youth services were what I enjoyed most about my experience at SJSU. Those courses reinforced my career path and my love for children's literature.

I plan to use my degree to:

I plan to use my degree to work with children either in a public library or school setting.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
