PROFILE

Current residence: San Jose, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

After working in libraries for about 8 years, I decided to make it an official career by becoming a librarian!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My supervisors, Serafin and Chieu, who let me take advantage of numerous learning opportunities. My colleagues within the San Jose Public Library system who often provided advice and guidence. And my fiancée, Michelle, who has been supportive of all my endeavors.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Flexibility.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The variety of classes and topics available and the ability to choose the majority of our courses.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a public librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

No longer correcting patrons when they call me a librarian.
