The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2019

PROFILE

Current residence: Santa Clarita, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

Learning is enjoyable for me and I wanted to dive deeper into the library sciences. I look forward to continuing my education further.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My sons Donovan and Wesley DePaiva, my mom Susan Ross.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Listening to lectures in bed and connecting with the library community online, meeting people I would never have connected with otherwise.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

My fantastic, knowledgeable and passionate professors.

I plan to use my degree to:

Pursue work in motion picture archives and collections, work as a public librarian serving my community.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Reading non-school books, traveling and possibly continuing my education. Hope to be back at SJSU!
