PROFILE

Current residence: Los Angeles, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to change careers to librarianship, a field which I felt best fit my interests and passions for community service, reading, and connecting people to information.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, friends, SJSU iSchool classmates and instructors, and my fellow SJSU ALASC board officers and adviser (shout out to the wonderful Debbie Faires!)

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the United States, Canada, Japan

What I liked best about online learning was:

The convenience of learning whenever, wherever.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Affirming my love for librarianship and the overall mission of creating access to information for people. I also enjoyed connecting and working with classmates through student organizations and listening to instructors who are experts in their fields.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work as a librarian in either a public library or an academic library.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Reading, writing my novel, baking
