Current residence: Longview, WA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

it would provide me with a strong foundation in Records and Information Management and a deeper understanding of key concepts to care for records throughout their entire lifecycle.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my parents. Friends who value records as much as I do have also encouraged me to pursue this path.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all walks of life. They brought great insights to classes by sharing their ideas, work experiences, and volunteering adventures. They opened my eyes up to many career opportunities that I had not previous considered.

What I liked best about online learning was:

being able to set my own schedule and research topics that were of interest to me.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

having an opportunity to learn from experts who work in the RIM field. I enjoyed learning from their personal experiences (do's and dont's) and the experiences of my peers.

I plan to use my degree to:

work in the public sector, managing, preserving, and providing access to records.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

managing records and making them more readily accessible to internal and external customers!
