Current residence: Vallejo, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I finally realized that I got a lot of joy and satisfaction from research and helping people acquire the information they need to do their jobs and my own longtime family genealogy research which connected me to many libraries and archives around the United States.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mother, sister, niece and nephews and cousins as well as my co-workers.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over California, France, Canada, Arizona and New York.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to take courses around my evening work schedule and access course resources 24/7.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

It opened my mind to the boundless possibilities of the information profession.

I plan to use my degree to:

My interests are so varied I am exploring opportunities in public and university libraries and archives but archives work is still at the forefront of my mind.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to diving into the work of an information professional. To watch and learn from those already in the field and find my place among them.
