The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2019

PROFILE

Current residence: Los Angeles, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I enjoy working at the library and helping the community engage in their learning curiosities.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mentors at SJSU and the faculty at my library.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world, and was able to collaborate with students in different cities and states.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The opportunity it provides students in learning how to use web-based tools to expand learning possibilities and engage in projects.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Collaborating with diverse individuals and learning about library practices in other states and countries.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a YA Librarian in a public library.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Serving members of the community by creating and providing programs and services that will aid the community in their informational needs.
