PROFILE

Current residence: Sonoma County, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I've wanted to become a librarian since grade school! Research, reading, technology, and helping people are all things I enjoy.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family, especially my sister.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Everywhere - from within my county to across the United States (and beyond).

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility to set my own schedule. I could study at times most convenient for me. Not having to commute was also a plus!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Being able to interact with classmates and professors from a variety of backgrounds and places. I also appreciated the iSchool's wide array of courses, including internship opportunities.

I plan to use my degree to:

Build strong, empowered communities while working in an information organization.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Establishing a better sleep schedule, spending more time with friends and family, and finally catching up with books in the stack.
