I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to pursue a career in a field where I can contribute to my work environment while working closely with my community. I believe in the field of Library Sciences I have found that connection.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, parents and co-workers were my biggest supporters.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

I met wonderful students from the East Coast to the West Coast. It was great to connect with other students and learn from their experiences.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I loved the flexibility online learning gave me which allowed me to work fulltime, get school work done and still have down time to enjoy time with loved ones.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I enjoyed challenging myself in becoming a better communicator, bettering my time management skills, and becoming a better professional.

I plan to use my degree to:

I plan to use my degree to bring positivity to my communities and workplace. I inspire to uphold a supportive work environment which extends to happy users and staff.<br />

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to applying my professional training from graduate school to the field. I'm looking forward to making connections with patrons and stakeholders who can uphold libraries as permanent positive entities within the community.
